NEW FASHION WITH 'GATHERED SLEEVES'.

        Here I would like to explain the idea of stitching gathered sleeves by using elastic thread.You can buy elastic thread by the inch at a fabric store.
Lets learn how to sew a churidar sleeve with elastic thread.
MATERIALS NEEDED TO CREATE GATHERED SLEEVES.
1.Fabric:you should purchase atleast one and a halftimes the material of the widest body measurment(purchase extra fabric if you want more gatherings)
2.Elastic thread:a heavy or stiff elastic will not give the sleeves a good look.Always you should purchase newnew elastic thread because if it is old it will loose its elasticity.
3.Thread, matching to your fabric:matched thread is needed.
HOW TO SEW
   Whenever you attatch the sleeves in your churidar start from the upper middle(near to the shoulder).After attatching the sleeves take the elastic(less 1 inches than the measurment.).Stretch the elastic while you are sewing to get the desired leangth.After completing the stitching the gathered sleeves are ready.Stitch and wear and be smart!!!!!

FLOWERS,STONES FIXING ON CHURIDAR.....

         The above given is one of my favourite churidars that I have sewed recently.First of all you should know the base of how to stitch an ordinary churidar,front open churidar(these 2 i explained seperatly;check them for verification)
Here i used a rose colour plain cotton cloth for stitching this churidar.I  gave collar neck ,full sleave,front open for this churidar(you can stitch neck and sleeve according to your interest)
Here i selected white coloured flower and stones for this.sewed flower wherever the front open starts. Sewed stones in each 5 inchches.you can select colourful stones,flowers for more attractiveness.
I use black,grey,violot colour pants with this churidar.Always try for the best.. sure..you will get the result.

The above fashion churidar is better suit for slim girls.
CUTTING AND SEWING
Take your cloth in which you like to sew this fashion churidar and fold it in the breadthwise,then in the leangthwise.mark the measurment of the necks,shoulders,chest,waist,slit etc.(which  have explained in CHURIDAR TOP)
From normal churidar top this churidar needs some changes.Take the measurment from sit to flaire.point the middle of it(if the measurment is 15 inches,point the mark on 7.5 inch) by using a coloured chalk.Then point the middle of the flaire also.then mark 2inches more in each part.cut the cloth carefully.Take an extra piece for piping in this area.start stitching from one slit to another.

FRONT OPEN WITH  ATTATCHING BUTTONS........
It gives a new and stylish look for all girls.Take the cloth first  and seperate the front ,back part.Again  cut through the middle part of the front piece.Attatch an extra piece in the outlooking part of these two pieces.Then fold it inside from each sides for piping.Leave a open in the lower part;then join the left using an extra piece.fix buttons as i have given in the above image.

COLLAR NECK FOR NEW LOOK...

Collar neck is always acceptable in fashionworld.when we are sewing a collar neck,only cut the front neck;do not cut the back neck.after cutting your desired neck give a front open by using zip,hook etc.[it is needed to have breadth for entering your head].after attatching the shoulder,take a piece of canvas and point the leangth you needed for around the neck.for the back part of the neck needed half an inch more than front part of the neck.if the front part is 1 inch ;the back part should be 1.5 inch.start sewing from the middle of the back neck.after attatching the canvas take the cloth and cover it carefully.

churidar stitching.

guys,lets learn how to sew an ordinary churidar.first you take the new cloth and fold it in the breadthwise then fold it in the lengthwise.next take the churidar from which you wish to take the measurment.fold it in breadthwise.put it on the cloth carefully.don't allow to disturb both of them.

MARK THE MEASURMENT

1.Length   : add 2 inches more.

2.Neck      :less .25 inch in the breadthwise;

same as the measurig churidar in the lengthwise.

3.Shoulder :add .25 inch more.

4.Armhole :add 2.5 inches more.

5.Chest      :add 2.5 inches more.

6. Lowerchest :add 2 inches more

7.slit                :1.5 inches more

8.flaire             :1.5 inches more

CUTTING THE CLOTH.

First cut the length of the cloth;then cut the neckpart carefully.then shoulder,arm hole[there is a slight defference in cutting the front and back part of the armhole.cut .25 inch more from the front part;lower area],cut the body part according to the mark and finally cut the flaire.

STITCHING

Sewing the neck is important in churidar stitching.so be careful when you are stitching this part.take an extra squire piece and attatch it towards the outlooking part of the cloth.stitch the neck carefully in the desired way.fold the piece to inside and lock there to the lining cloth.then attatch shoulder,attatch sleeves.start stitching from the end part of sleeve and stop at the slit point then turn stitching.fold the back part of flairre twice and start sewing.after completing the stitching the churidar top is ready.
